I've always had a special place in my heart for 'lawsuit era' Takamine's but find it very difficult to get information on how a given model was constructed; what the materials used were; and which models used solid woods.

I know, for example, that the 'S' suffix on an F360 (ie: F360S) means that the top is solid.

Did Takamine make any all solid wood guitars in those days?

Anyone know of a site that provides this kind of information?

Are there any solid top Tak's that don't carry the 'S' suffix? For example, their 12 strings?
