I got an incredible deal on an EG335SC yesterday, way too cheap to pass up. I get it later this week.
I want to make a few changes......
What brand of tuners are on this guitar? I want to replace the chrome knobs with ebony. Any suggestions?
I have spare 2 compensated saddles, bone and Micarta, that fit Martin 6 strings. Will they fit on a Tak bridge?
Which brand of ebony bridge pins fit the Tak?
Thanks in advance

I'm afraid I can't help you much on your tech questions, but you might try sending an e-mail to Takamine's customer service and ask them. They could probably answer your questions. I contacted them a while back with a similar question and they answered in about a day.
I recently picked up some bridge pins for my Martins and Gibson and they look to be the same size as the ones in my EG335SC. |

The Machines on your guitar are not any particular brand. They are made for G Series. I do not know for sure because I have never done it, but Ping buttons should work.
The bone saddles you have will not work. The saddle and pickup on your guitar is an integrated unit. It is not just an "under saddle pickup"
Any "Martin" style bridge pin with work in the EG335SC.
I hope you enjoy your new 12 string. |
